When you first start writing, it’s easy to become overwhelmed by all the jargon. Here’s a list of definitions, some commonly used, some used mostly by me, that will make navigating your way through the world of writing a lot easier.

MC: Main character.

TBR pile: To-be-read pile, referring to the massive and unending stack of books that one intends to read.

WIP: Work in progress. A story currently being worked on.
