Just popping by today to note that if any of you out there are writery people, you might want to consider this bundle I found. David Farland was one of the instructors at the Masterclass I attended last week, and he really knows his stuff. It was *fantastic* hearing his insights into working with Hollywood, and what to watch out for.
David’s also a well-known script-doctor, an excellent writer himself, and a writing mentor, who helped develop the careers of people you’ve heard of – Brandon Sanderson and Stephanie Meyer, to name a couple. He was also connected with Scholastic’s decision to market Harry Potter as their #1 title for 1997, and was instrumental in constructing the marketing plan.

For $19.99US, you can pick up not only THREE of his ebooks, but also TWO of his course, which usually retail for between $200 and $700US. Oh, and there are two of his lectures in there too.
Guys. This is a good deal. If you have $20US (about $36AU) to spare, I strongly suggest you do as I did, and run over to purchase it now. I haven’t looked at the material yet, but I listened to him last week, and his track record speaks for itself. For $20, it’d be hard to lose, really.
