I confess, there’s a bit of an overlap between the playlist for #FoxBook and the playlist for Maggie Stiefvater’s Shiver. That’s because if you loved Shiver, chances are high that you’ll love #FoxBook too! They both have the same resonant, bittersweet, moody kind of atmosphere, and they both have weather-linked shapeshifting, and they both have YA romance. Whee!
So today, an entry that *literally* came from Stiefvater’s playlist: that’s where I was introduced to this song. It’s glorious, and wholesome, and beautiful, and I can so identify with feeling like ‘she fights for her life as she puts on her coat, and she fights for her life on the train’; daily life is a fight, often, but like this song, it can still be beautiful at the same time. <3
