The blog is going to continue as usual over the next few weeks, but please don’t take the lack of reference to current world events as a lack of care or interest. I simply have nothing of value to add to the heartbreaking narratives of those whose voices deserve to be heard.
Black lives matter. Globally, unequivocally.
I politely request that no one come back with ‘all lives matter’. That is a grossly privileged, under-educated take on the matter, and if that’s your instinctive reaction, I humbly suggest that you make educating yourself on the issue a priority.
Please, everyone: do what you can to stay safe.
