Welcome to #MadeItMonday, where I post something I’ve made in the previous week, and where you can join in and post something you made too! So, I got some gorgeous copic ciao markers a few weeks ago and have been having SO much fun playing with them! I can see that there’s going to be a big learning curve in getting them to do exactly what I want – and in just generally improving my drawing skills – but in the meantime, so much fun. It feels low pressure, I can complete a small drawing in a single evening, and it’s just generally good for my mental health 🙂
Here’s a random sample of Things I’ve Drawn (including some timed 10-min sketches for Practice and they are not fantastic but I think it’s probably good for us all to practice showing things in public that aren’t our best work because it reminds us that we’re not supposed to Only Make Perfect Art?):
Do you have a hobby that you do just because you enjoy it, and not because of what you can produce from it? I’m trying hard to keep drawing like that for me so I have one area of my life without pressure – I hear that’s supposed to be good for you :’D
