Made-It Monday: Trust Issues Artwork

Welcome to #MadeItMonday, where I post something I’ve made in the previous week, and where you can join in and post something you made too! The rules are easy: post a pic somewhere of something you’ve made in the last week (ish; let’s say in the last month as the hard-and-fast) and tag it. Sit back and enjoy scrolling through all the beautiful things we’ve collectively created, and celebrate the fact that humans can be awesome!

As mentioned last week, I spent a lot of time over the holidays doing art stuff, which has been amazing. I’ve been missing art the last few years a lot – I didn’t have time for it much while I was working full time, and it kind of fell by the wayside in uni in favour of learning to write better, so I’d almost forgotten that in years 11 and 12 I actually carried sketch books around to every class, and filled a couple of books with random sketches and doodles and scribbles and writing in code (ha).

Last year, my youngest started kindy, which meant no more daycare fees, which meant I could afford to drop a line of teaching, and I tell you what: the difference being a little part time has made to my sanity has been phenomenal. Ask anyone who knows me in person: I am a different being now, for the much, much better. All of which has meant that I actually have a bit of time to squeeze art into the fringes of my life again (because dropping to part time paid work obviously doesn’t mean more time to relax, AH HA HA no, why would you think that? (Though, tbf, I do find art relaxing!)). Yay!

…Not sure why I felt the need to go into detail about this right now, but whatever, here we are 😀 Random Insights Into The Amy Psyche 101. (Or, with over 900 posts on the blog here now, that’s probably like 201 or something, ha.)

ANYWAY HERE IS TODAY’S MADE-IT MONDAY. IT’S THE ARTWORK FOR THE TRUST ISSUES FAN KIT MINI, WHICH YOU CAN GRAB YOURSELF A COPY OF HERE. YAY!

And now, what have you made this week? Don’t forget to tag your contribution, or even better, leave a link in the comments!! I love seeing what inspiring things other people have made 🙂 🙂 🙂
