A throwback in this edition Friday Favs. I was in the car the other day pulling into the driveway with the kids and said something about keeping safe – so of course I had to quote, “Keep it secret, keep it safe.” And then we came inside and I dug out my copy of the trilogy* and started reading and THEN I started reading aloud and THEN ninety minutes later I’d read the first chapter to the kids and the 10-year-old in particular was very keen. So of course last weekend when we were talking Book Week costumes it came up, and we had to watch the below.
* Lord of the Rings, for those who didn’t catch the reference.
