Welp. First of all, prizes for the longest post title ever. SORRY NOT SORRY, BWA HA.
So. Last week, Inkprint Press launched a Kickstarter campaign for Liana Brooks’ crime trilogy, the Time & Shadows series. Book one, The Day Before, comes out today, woohoo!! (Well, maybe tomorrow in other time zones… The 18th, whenever that is where you are.) This is a rerelease of her very first trilogy, and I was very excited to be able to work on it. To celebrate, there is the Kickstarter campaign, which finishes on the 28th (AEDT time), which you should totally go check out – you can get the whole series on ebook for $18AU (about $13.50 US, which is a steal for three full-length novels!) AND you’ll get all three of them in early November, before book 2 officially hits the stores!
Why is this here as a Made-It Monday? I’M SO GLAD YOU ASKED, BWA HA HA HA.
Because, for the first time ever, I made a book trailer! It’s my first attempt and I had to work with free videos since I had no budget for this, but WOO! I MADE A BOOK TRAILER AND IT IS NOT TERRIBLE!! lol.
So, as my Made-It Monday this week, the trailer:
Definitely go check out the Kickstarter. You can pick up the special annotated edition in paperback, or grab the whole series cheap in ebook, or if you’re keen you can grab one of our gorgeous Fan Kit boxes. This one will be a full-sized Fan Kit in the special custom box (like A Fox Of Storms And Starlight), and it has some really exciting items in it – well, they all do, because there’s one box per book, woo hoo!!! <3
(Someone emailed me recently about the Fan Kit Mini they got for Thea van Diepen’s book, The Kitten Psychologist Collection: “I am DELIGHTED. This is actual perfection.” So. People love the Fan Kits?! Yay!!)
