Friday Gratitude

This week, here’s what’s keeping me going:

  • Tea, obviously. I’m trending towards toffee again this week, with pops of the classic favourite Jaffalicious, and a new discovery that I adore, Strawberry Sweetheart.
  • Bunny! *hearty eyes* I’m too lazy to post pictures here generally speaking, though JUST THIS ONCE I’ll throw a few down the bottom of this post so you can be convinced as to the adorableness that is Crystal Bunny (also known as Crystal Bistal, Hip Hop Bunny Flop, BunBun, BonBon, Bun-bonniere, and more…) and thus go sign up for my mailing list, or follow me on Instagram, the two places where you are GUARANTEED of bunny picture on the regular.
  • OMG being ahead on all the publishing for my minor releases this year! I literally have graphics ready to go for my CHRISTMAS release, y’all. I am so, so so so thankful for this – it’s such a massive change from running constantly behind or cutting it fine on deadlines.
  • Relatedly, HA, the fact that I already have one of my minor releases for 2025 ready to go *insert happy smug face here*. Well, not READY ready, but it’s written and largely edited and formatted, and I have the beginnings of a cover in the works, omg, hurrah. What IS this being prepared and early for things? I DON’T KNOW BUT I LOVE IT. (And let’s not talk about my major releases, by which I mean novels, which are, uh, more more ‘in the works’ still, okay?)
  • Pokemon Go, because I play it with my kids and it’s a fun and wholesome bonding experience for us all.
  • The fact that my indoor pot plants, the ones I bought way back when, are not only still alive, but are alive enough that they will probably need repotting come spring? (Which is further away for me than my northern hemisphere fellows, but nonetheless.)
  • The fact that my garden, despite being utterly neglected, is still PACKED full of pumpkins and tomatoes, all self-seeded, so even though we did literally NOTHING, there is still food 🙂 🙂 🙂
