In Which I Take A Holiday

Did the whole ‘family holiday’ thing just post Easter this year, and stayed in our bus for the first time! Bus used to be a 42-seat coach, and now is a not-quite-finished camper van. Spectacular. Loved staying in it, much better than camping in a tent, adored having a proper queen-sized bed mattress instead of an inflatable camp mat, A++.

The vibes were great, the scenery was beautiful, and we got our first frost of the year on the FINAL night of camp, which is a significant improvement on last year, where camping at the same time of year in the same place meant a few days of single digits (Celsius) and Extremely Cold Nights where it took me like an hour to warm up in my sleeping bag each night. This year was far superior, thanks very much.

I should probably also say something here about the fact that And Then I Shall Transform is LIVE and AVAILABLE TO THE WORLD in ALL TIME ZONES as of today. Honestly, it’s a Very Good Book, and if you like fantasy mostly set in the real world, and audaciously quirky scenarios, and Very Voicey Character, you should definitely give it a try.

Buy my book: if nothing else, you’ll get a giggle out of Romeo and Juliet as stomach bacteria 😉 (Which, I promise there was a good reason for that. Honest.) (And I’d adore it if you were willing to buy direct from me, because it doesn’t cost you any extra but means we’re not mutually lining Amazon’s pockets. Love ya!)
